Student Security and Safety
Arp ISD Tech Department takes seriously the safety and security of all Online users. We provide the following for students.
We provide a protected and safe place to store documents and to interact with faculty and students in the same grade level and courses.
We provide a protected Internet experience with URL filters and logging programs that alert us to inappropriate content and cyberbullying events.
--We provide a protected and filter environment for remote students and in-district students. We provide remote filtering through Securly and in-district filtering through our Firewall.
--We provide malware, spyware, and virus protection on all district devices.
--We provide hotspots that are also URL filtered to comply with the Child Internet Protection Act (C**A) and the Deleting Online Predators Act (DOPA).
We provide cloud storage which is filtered and protected and which send alerts to us for any attempted unauthorized use.
--We have filtered email addresses that keep students safe and also provides alerts to end-users for any phishing, malware, or trojan attempts.

We log all activities on our network and can provide each mouse click documentation if necessary. Please be aware that we do all that the law requires and above and beyond those requirements. We do, however, need parental participation in all online activities. Notify us if you are having concerns.
