Our staff is BACK, and we kicked off the new school year with plenty of neon, 80s fun, laughter, learning, and BIG dreams for our Tigers!

Our first day together was all about reconnecting as a team, digging into this year’s theme, and beginning to prepare our classrooms and campus for the students we have been missing all summer.

There’s something special about starting a new year together—sharing ideas, laughing with your people, turning up the music, and getting excited about all the possibilities ahead. And if we’re asking our students to dream big, we think their teachers should get to do a little of that too! ✨

The rooms are coming together, the energy is building, and we are counting down the days until our Tigers are back where they belong.

🐯✨ **The First Day of School Is Almost Here!** ✨🐯

We cannot wait to welcome our Tigers back on **Thursday, August 13**! We believe this is going to be our best year yet. It’s our time to shine as we **Dream Big and Achieve More—together!**

A few important reminders for our families:

⏰ **Morning Arrival**

* Doors open at **7:20 a.m.**
* The tardy bell rings at **7:40 a.m.**
* Families are welcome to walk students to class during the first two days of school.
* Beginning the following week, please use the car line unless you are dropping off items for a teacher or have a scheduled meeting. This helps us keep our parking lots clear for buses and staff.

Students arriving after 7:40 must be brought through the front office. Parents **must park and walk their child inside**. Please do not leave students unattended at the door, as this creates a serious safety concern.

🍎 **Lunch Visitors**

Parents may begin eating lunch with their students during the **second week of school**. This gives our students and staff time to learn routines and settle into the new year.

🚗 **Afternoon Dismissal**

Dismissal begins at **3:15 p.m.** All students should be picked up by **3:45 p.m.** unless prior arrangements have been made.

We are ready for a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and possibilities. **Dream Big. Achieve More. It’s our time to shine!** ❤️🐯

🎉 Meet the Teacher is almost here! 🎉

Class lists will be posted on the school doors beginning at 4:00 p.m. the day before Meet the Teacher. You can also find them posted inside as you enter the event.

A few reminders for the evening:

🍧 Kona Ice and ETX Lemonade will be on campus to help everyone beat the heat!
🎒 Families are welcome to bring school supplies to make the first day easier.
📚 Visit the library and foyer for information about ways to get involved, school spirit shirts, and more!

This year, each grade level will have its own colored field trip shirt. Order forms will be available during Meet the Teacher. Our traditional maroon spirit shirts and other school swag will also be available for purchase, with proceeds helping fund student rewards and campus fun! Don't forget to take family pictures with our fun backdrops.

Please remember that Arp Elementary can accept cash or checks only for shirts and school swag. We can’t wait to welcome our Tigers back! 🐯❤️

Let's welcome these 25 individuals that will help us educate the children of Arp, America in the soon to begin 2026-27 school year.
And hey, a few of these new employees are returning to Arp ISD. So let's welcome them back!
Tuesday, they completed their new employee orientation as teacher in-service is set to begin Wednesday at all Arp ISD campuses.

📣 Arp ISD is excited to continue our partnership with Whitehouse YMCA The REC to provide after-school care for families in the Arp community!

Students are escorted by staff to the elementary gym, where they can play, enjoy a snack, complete homework, and safely wait for parent pickup. Care is available from dismissal until 6:00 p.m.

Registration: $50
Weekly tuition: $60
Supply fee: $75
Drop-in care: $20 per day
