Hello to our wonderful ABC families, please know your teachers miss you terribly! I do have some good news; our wonderful Bible Study teacher for school age has made an Easter video for the kiddos I hope you all will enjoy. Don't forget to check your snail mail for a letter from ABC with a project for the kids on page two. Happy Easter Everyone!

Dear ABC families,

Please know that your loving staff at ABC is praying for you and your families during this stressful time. Teacher's have also been busy cleaning classrooms and preparing packets for your children. After this week we will be leaving our well prepared classrooms ready and waiting for your childrens return.

Our program is a small business and runs from month to month supplied by tuition alone. We understand that this time is financially stressful for everyone. We will not be able to reimburse March tuition as this money has gone toward offering the staff partial compensation but also allowing ABC to pay our bills for March and April so that we may remain open. I am doing everything I can to sustain and maintain the program, but some staff members have mentioned they may have no choice but to look for other employment should the closure be longer than April. We certainly hope this is not the case, as again we want everyone to have a program to come back to. We will not be collecting tuition for April, even though in our handbook it states that tuition must be collected to hold a child's spot regardless of emergency closures. This decision will come at a cost to our teachers who live from paycheck to paycheck, but we are trying to be as compassionate as possible to both staff and families. When we reopen we will pro-rate collections based on our start date. We hope this will help to re-leave some burden on our families.

At this time our closure will continue to follow the Aromas/San Juan School District, however we are debating on whether to return during Aromas Schools spring break, the week of April 13th, or the following week on April 20th with Aromas School. These dates are subject to change as we are advised by the School District and State.

We are so grateful to have so many wonderful families who have reached out to help us during this time of stress and uncertainty and know that we are truly blessed. We will continue to pray and think of you all during this separation. Below are some resources that may be helpful to keep your little ones busy at home.

God bless you all,

Ms. Briana

Hello to our ABC Preschool and Daycare friends, I figured with everything going on it was about time we had a facebook. I do not do facebook, so excuse me if I don't get back to someone or do something incorrectly. I hope to keep in touch with our families on here during this time and in the future.
Nowassa had a great idea of making a list of things to do at home with your kids and I thought it would be great to share those ideas with each other.
Some things my family likes to do when we are stuck inside is build sheet forts and have picnics inside them, listen to the Beatles on pandora while we make card towers or do puzzles, make fresh warm playdough, and have contests for who can make the best pancakes.

Take care and talk soon,
Briana
