🦋🦋🐛🐛🦋🦋🐛 Butterfly Fun 🦋🐛🐛🦋🦋🐛🐛

PTO purchased 4th grade classes with caterpillars. They had so much fun learning about their life cycle and watching them turn into beautiful butterflies! They released them on a sunny day last week and watched them fly off to do their job of being pollinators!

Wow what an awesome week celebrating our AMAZING staff!! We had a jam packed fun schedule with something special planned every single day. A big thank you to all who participated in our fundraising events to help make all of this possible! This week is special because it helps show our appreciation for the hero’s who go above and beyond to make Sherwood the BEST place for our kiddos! 🥳🎉.

🥳CONGRATULATIONS TO OFFICER CRITES- PTO STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL!!🤩

Every month, PTO will highlight staff who have been nominated by fellow staff members or parents. The staff member chosen gets a certificate and gift card as thanks for their amazing dedication to our students and school.

For April, we received an awesome nomination for Officer Crites. The overall nomination read as follows: "Officer Crites goes above and beyond and really cares about Sherwood and its students. He is always one of the first to volunteer for things even without being asked to and is a big support for staff and PTO. This quarter alone, he has worked trivia night, donated his time for silent auction activities, and volunteered to get slimed without a poncho! All of the kids love him and he is such a positive law enforcement role model. When he escorted first grade to the library on their walking field trip, all of the kids kept saying how cool he is. He definitely deserves recognition!"
