The last two days were filled with joy! Children moving up to Pre-K classes and children moving onto Kindergarten, so proud of their accomplishments. Like the song says, we wish they could "Slow Down," but they can't wait to grow up.

The pictures are from all the different programs and some were sent to me by other teachers. If I get more, I will share them.

Thank you for entrusting us with your precious children. There is no better job in the world than having a front seat to watching them gain confidence when they master a new skill.

Keep learning everything you can boys and girls. We can't wait to see what you become when you grow up!!

This morning, the Tues/Thurs Monkey class received their certificates for completing their 1st year of preschool. Ms Star and I have been so blessed to teach these children over the past 9 months. Each and every child is so special to the both of us. We wish them all of the success in life as they move on to PreK!

Last week was the last week of preschool for the Tues/Thurs Monkeys.
On Tuesday, we made windsocks and we got to see butterflies that came out of their chrysalis. How exciting!
We celebrated summer birthdays and on Thursday we made ice cream cones.
After our work, it was time for the obstacle course. So much fun was had!

Last week was our last week of preschool with the Monkeys Mon/Wed class. With the water being turned off at school on Monday, a few of us met at the Arnold park for some fun.
On Wed we checked out our butterflies and they were out of their chrysalis. The kids were so excited to see the butterflies.
We celebrated some summer birthdays and made windsocks.
Then it was time for the obstacle course.
What fun!!

***Reminders***

Don't forget that graduations and promotions are Monday and Tuesday.

All 3/4 year old classes come at 8:45. Their ceremonies begin at 9 am.

All Pre-K classes come at 10:45 am. Their ceremonies start at 11:00 am.

Don't forget lawn chairs, sunscreen, and cameras (providing it does not rain.) We will move inside if the weather is bad.

We will have refreshments following the ceremony.

This will be your child's last day of school. Have a wonderful summer!!

This picture is from circa 2013. Ezekiel's dad surprised him at his graduation̈ after being gone for a year! Best day ever!!

🐸 The frog classes had a fun surprise on Tuesday when they got to school and saw that the butterflies had emerged from their chrysalises! 🦋 (The morning class was equally thrilled to find a turtle near the church entrance when they arrived Tuesday morning—see photos🐢) During class they read We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, did a variety of bear themed activities, and even ate bears at snack time. 🧸On Thursday, they practiced for graduation and then had fun playing in the obstacle course upstairs.

The Mustard Seed Preschool The three year old program is held two 1/2 days per week,  Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/ Thursday. Both morning and afternoon  sessions are available.  

This is such a busy time of year if you have school aged kids, but don't forget your preschoolers. They need education, too. They can learn how to make friends, include everyone in playtime, and how to be kind.

They also learn skills like cutting with scissors, holding a pencil correctly and using the right amount of glue for their craft project.

It is not just ABC’s and 123’s. Of course they are important, but so are social skills. Check us out! We can give you a break and give your child a safe and loving place to learn that school is fun.
