Meramec Heights Elementary Music

The Fox C-6 School District All-District Elementary Choir will be held on March 16, 2024 with a public performance at 2:00 PM at Rickman Auditorium in Arnold, Missouri. Held in celebration of national music in our schools month, this concert will feature twelve student representatives from each elementary school and their music teachers.

This concert features Lauren Romano of Antonia Middle School as the guest clinician, Kevin Nicoletti of Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as the guest composer, and the collective musical talents of the elementary music team. Admission to the concert is a canned or boxed food item to benefit the Arnold Food Pantry in partnership with the Fox and Seckman High School Tri-M Music Honor Society chapters to raise awareness for food insecurity in the community. The Fox C-6 School Districthas been recognized by the NAMM Foundation for the 2023 "Best Communities For Music Education" award.

We look forward to celebrating national music in our schools month through musical song with the Fox C-6 School community!

You are invited to attend Meramec Heights Elementary’s Music In Our Schools Month Music (MIOSM) Program on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Rickman Auditorium, Arnold, Missouri.

The third grade students will present the musical "From The Inside Out" at 5:40 PM. The fourth grade students will present the musical "Make A Difference" at 6:30 PM. Choir students will perform pre-show at the 6:30 PM concert. Each show will last approximately 30 minutes. Bring a canned food item for admission to benefit the Arnold Food Pantry.

March is designated as national "Music In Our Schools Month" (MIOSM) by the National Association for Music Education (National Association for Music Education). Music is more than singing or playing an instrument; it is an essential component of every student's educational life experiences. This month, please help me to celebrate the importance of music in our schools.
