Truxal's Radical Knitting Club is back and will meet from 3:30-4:45pm on Wednesday, September 30th on the second floor of the library in Periodicals.

We invite staff, students, and community members to bring a craft project or learn a new skill and engage in discussion around the text Mutual Aid by Dean Spade as read to us by Professor Forrest Caskey. This edition of RKC is cosponsored by the AACC Fiber Arts Club.

AACC will be closed for Independence Day July 3-July 5, but you can still check out our virtual exhibit "Semiquincentennial: America at 250 years," exploring the history and legacy of American independence! https://libguides.aacc.edu/250.

Featuring books on the nation’s founding and earlier centennial commemorations, the exhibit invites reflection on the sacrifices made in the pursuit of liberty and how the ideals of freedom and equality inspired later movements to end slavery and expand civil rights, shaping a more inclusive American identity.

You can also visit the physical exhibit is on display at the quad entrance on the 2nd floor.
