The COM faculty will host the popular Soapbox Sisters event again this semester, on March 26 at 11 a.m. Would you like to participate by reciting a poem, speech or writing from an influential women (dead or alive--or, if you're a woman, your original work). All are welcome to participate, regardless of gender. Rehearsals required. Sign up for my team here!

Planning to transfer to the University of Maryland College Park to major in journalism? Great news: UMCP's Philip Merrill College of Journalism accepts AACC's journalism transfer credits in place of their own journalism courses. COM 102, Writing for Media 1, COM 112, Newspaper Editing & Production, and COM 202, Writing for Media 3 transfer in place of JOUR 201, JOUR 202 and JOUR 320, respectively.
