PBIS Dance at AMS Friday! 💙❤️🐻

Committing to chaperone a school dance after a full week of teaching is truly crazy work. 😂 But these kids danced the night away and had the BEST time!

And a HUGE, heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to come out and lend a hand!

So glad our kids had such a fun night dancing the night away! 🪩💃🏽🕺🏽✨

💙 Mrs. Charlotte — the heart of our front office! 🐻

If you’ve ever walked through the doors of Arnaudville, chances are you’ve met Mrs. Charlotte.
Charlotte does so much more than a secretary’s job description could ever capture. She keeps our office running, helps our students, supports our teachers, answers questions, solves problems, welcomes families, keeps us organized, and somehow manages to keep a million things moving at once.
This picture is showing you a face you are sure to see quite often around here. This is Mrs. Charlotte’s “thinking face.” You can almost hear the wheels turning. Whether she’s figuring out a problem, trying to remember one more thing on her never-ending list, or making sure everything is taken care of, that little thinking face is usually hard at work. 🤪

She is often the person behind the scenes making sure things happen. She knows our students, knows our families, knows our staff, and is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed.

We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, her patience, her kindness, and all of the countless things she does each day for our school family.

Thank you, Mrs. Charlotte, for being such an important part of our Arnaudville Bears family! 🐻💙

💵 Only these 3 items may be purchased for $1.00 each. No other clothing items may be paid for in order to wear them.

🧸 Students may also wear any Arnaudville spirit, club, or sports shirt for FREE!

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Arnaudville School is getting ready for our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Friday, October 16! 💗

PTO has designed a new shirt for this year. Students and families are encouraged to wear the shirts for the walk. They can also be worn every Friday throughout the school year. 🩷🐻

Join us as we gather to honor and remember on the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
The St. Landry Parish Government and the St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial invite the public to attend our September 11th Commemoration Ceremony. Together, we will pay tribute to the 2,977 victims lost, the 441 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and all the families whose lives were forever changed.
📅 Date: Friday, September 11, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:30 A.M.
📍 Location: St. Landry Parish Courthouse
⚠️ IMPORTANT PARKING & TRAFFIC NOTICE: To ensure safety and honor our local emergency personnel, parking spaces in front of the St. Landry Parish Courthouse will be strictly RESERVED for First Responders (Sheriff, Police, Marshal Units, Fire Trucks, and Ambulances).
Additionally, the Courthouse Square will be BLOCKED from the corner of West Landry Street to Bellevue Street for the duration of the ceremony.
We encourage our entire community to attend as we stand together to remember and honor those who serve.

Our 5th–8th graders are invited to join us for a fun night of music, dancing, and hanging out with friends! 💃🕺🎶

⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 Location: Gym
🎟️ $5 Entry
🍿 Concessions will be available for purchase
💵 CASH ONLY

📱 Phone Collection:
Students will turn in their phones when they arrive. Phones will be kept secure and returned at pick-up.

🚗 Drop-Off:
Pull into the drop-off area and let your student out by the gym.

🚗 Pick-Up:
We’ll have someone in the parking lot communicating with the adults inside so we can send students out as their rides arrive.

🐻💙 SCHOOL SPIRIT STORE UPDATE!

Our school spirit store pre-orders are being handed out this week! And many of our students are already wearing their new spirit wear today. Everyone looks great, but there’s just something extra special about seeing our new little Cubs in their Arnaudville gear. 🥹🐻 They look absolutely precious, and we are loving all the school spirit!

We’ve opened the store back up so you have another chance to order! The store closes September 16!
