Sibley Scoop A student led website for the Sibley East Schools and Communities. Standards – This project integrates all core standards in many different subject areas.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to inform Sibley East Schools and communities of the events, happenings, and accomplishments in the district. Vision Statement: Our vision is to have a sustaining student led website that increases enthusiasm and school pride in our district which leads to students getting involved for many years to come. Technology is obvious, but the cross curriculum standard

s are infinite with all the educational principles you could reinforce with this venture. We are excited to work with all departments in this project. Student Diversity – All levels of students have shown success with the project, and it has been very rewarding that students with disabilities have found not only a way to succeed, but truly have felt to be a vital part and are engaged in the whole process. This project has given all students a chance to be successful not only individually, but has given a chance for all students to collaborate and see the power of teamwork. Students are extremely proud of their efforts. School Pride - With this website venture, we’re striving to enhance school pride and spirit. Sibleyscoop.com looks to increase awareness of all the great accomplishments at Sibley East Schools, and promote student achievement. Our mindset is to increase student involvement in extra-curricular activities and clubs/organizations with the increased attention these activities will receive through Sibleyscoop.com.

Fall sports include cross country, boys and girls soccer, tennis, volleyball, and football. Still thinking about joining? The last day to join Varsity/JV sports is September 8! The last day to join 7-8 football and volleyball is September 21!

Coaches would like to encourage all students to be part of a team this fall!

Congratulations Sibley East FFA!

THREE-STAR NATIONAL CHAPTER! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

For the second year in a row, Sibley East FFA has been named a 3-Star National Chapter Award winner! This is the the highest ranking a chapter can receive through the National Chapter Award Program!

This award shows our chapter's dedication to Building Leaders, Growing Communities and Strengthening Agriculture. The application is completed by our officer team, and it highlights 9 activities that our chapter completes throughout the year!

Less than 10% of FFA chapters nationwide are being recognized this year with a National Chapter Award star rating, and only 11 other chapters in Minnesota received this rating!

We are incredibly proud of the students who made this possible! 💛💙

Yearbook pickup will continue tomorrow, Thursday, August 20! Mrs. Westphal will be stationed in the commons at the middle/high school from 10:30 - 1:30. Very few extras are available and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. They will be sold for $65.

We have a selection of yearbooks from previous years, and they will be available at reduced prices.

Pickup will also be available during the open house evening on Wednesday, August 26.
