Our FIRST Wakefield PTSA Meeting of the 2026–27 School Year is tomorrow night!

Want to support the Wakefield student community with a fun, easy, one-time volunteer job? Good at organizing? Have an eye for style? Or maybe you just want to embarrass your child by being in the school building during lunch? We have the perfect volunteer job for you!

Every fall, the Wakefield PTSA holds a Homecoming Boutique so that all students can shop for semi-formal attire for the HoCo Dance (coming up on 10/3). All dresses and suits are only $5!

To make the sale a success, we need volunteers to help set up and to help students shop. Here's what we need:
Tuesday, September 15 (evening, right before the first PTSA meeting) - Set up
Wednesday, September 16 (morning) - Set up
Wednesday, September 16 - Friday, September 18 (lunch and after school) - Help students shop

ALSO--we are still seeking donations of short, semi-formal new or clean dresses that are teen-friendly to support this sale. There's a bin in the Wakefield front office and two neighborhood drop off points (including in North Arlington). The flyer is attached.

The Wakefield PTSA's Homecoming Clothing Drive has begun! For many families, purchasing semi-formal attire for the Hoco Dance (coming up on 10/3) might be an expense that they just can't manage. This is why we will be holding a Homecoming Boutique where all dresses and suits are only $5. We are seeking donations of short, semi-formal new or clean dresses that are teen-friendly to support this sale.

Mark your calendars for the Wakefield Jazz Cafe, Friday, May 15!

The Town Hall will be transformed into a Jazz Club with music provided by Gunston Middle School, TJ Middle School and Wakefield High Jazz Ensembles. Bid on the silent auction and enjoy appetizers during this magical evening.

Tickets available in advance or at the door; auction bidding begins May 8.
