Fly Fishing Over 50

Friday we ended the Fly Fishing Sessions at ACTIV for the month of May. We had a great group of fly fishers, casters, and tiers this round!! Really enjoyed tying with the group this last Friday. And of course I had to go test the flies today, although I knew they would already work!! Hopefully we can schedule a fly fishing trip soon!!

Did a little Tenkara Tour preparing for the next 3 Fly Fishing Sessions at ACTIV. These sessions will be all about fly fishing locally. Today we fished 4 different ponds in South Arlington. All have easy access and good fishing. Sign up for the 3 sessions, and you will find out all about them!! Registration at ACTIV is now OPEN!! Don’t miss out on your chance to learn how to.

Fly Fishing Participants. Hope you are all well, and ready to resume your fly fishing journey. The fly fishing sessions at ACTIV will resume again starting on May the 8th, with additional sessions on the 15th and 22nd of May. We will still cater towards the beginners that attend, but we will also focus on enhancing the experience that was already presented in the sessions you already attended. So what is there to expect? We will be tying new flies, that will work on local waters. We will continue to improve your casting skills, and will present you local places to fish, within 20 minutes of ACTIV. So don’t wait, and reserve your spot in the three sessions in May. And if you do, there very well may be another outing planned, for you to register for.

What a great time fly fishing with the ACTIV group today!! Many caught their first fish on a fly today! And to top it off lunch at Corky’s Pizza. So much fun. Plan on doing more of this. Stay tuned!!
