REEP is very thankful for our volunteers! Volunteer Arlington honors and recognizes individuals and groups who make a difference through volunteering at its annual Arlington Cares event. The event celebrates annual award winners and people who have spent 100 hours or more volunteering for an individual organization in the previous year. Thank you to our volunteers who dedicated 100+ hours in the past year and to those who came out to last evening's event to celebrate their achievement at the Arlington Cares Award Ceremony.

REEP teachers are integrating online platforms in instruction to enhance and extend learning opportunities for students and strengthen their digital resilience. This week, teachers completed a training from National Geographic on Spark, the platform used with the book series Stand Out, soon to be piloted with select classes.

REEP teachers gathered on April 12 for a Science of Reading PLC, to discuss the elements of teaching reading, correlations to the ELPS Standards, and ways to apply this to their instructional routines. Many thanks to REEP Coordinator Darlene F for leading the session!
