Take a look at our favorite moments from the 2023 CAS Annual Meeting and Student Conference that took place last week in sunny Los Angeles, CA!
⚡ We started on Monday by highlighting three of the 2023 Trust Scholarship recipients, celebrating their outstanding achievements, and kept the fun going through our CAS Student Conference on Tuesday.
⚡ As part of the CAS Student Central Summer Scholars Program, two of our participants were able to travel to the CAS Annual Meeting and Student Conference under the Scholars Program Travel Scholarship! Check out some of their pictures from the Diverse & Global Community reception.
⚡ With over 20+ students in attendance at the Student Conference, students had the opportunity to network with professional actuaries, learn about the CAS and P&C industry, and engage in Quick Byte sessions about email security, cloud computing, and continuous data storytelling.

Calling all university students 📣 We are excited to announce that applications for the 2024-2025 CAS Trust Scholarship are now being accepted! The CAS Trust Scholarship is open to full-time college students pursuing a career in actuarial science. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 and $5,000 for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The CAS Student Conference, being held in conjunction with the CAS Annual Meeting, kicked off this morning with student headshots!
As part of the event, students are offered the opportunity to get their free headshot, followed by an Intro to the CAS and P&C industry, speed networking with peers, Quick Byte sessions, and more.

Congratulations to three of our 2023 CAS Trust Scholarship recipients, Kevin Konop, Daniel Polites, and Aimee Xu, who were recognized this morning during the Celebration of New Members at the CAS Annual Meeting! 🎉
As part of their great accomplishment, the Trust Scholarship recipients have been invited to attend the CAS Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, CA and will participate in the CAS Student Central Student Program tomorrow. We look forward to hearing about the great things these students will accomplish in the following years!
