LULAC Mav Council ( #22507) Established 2022 at the University of Texas at Arlington dedicated to serving the Hispanic and Latinx community on campus through volunteer work, cultural events, and professional development.
Recognition: Awarded District 3 (D3) Council of the Year in 2023.
Focus: Voting registration! Helping register 516 people in 2024
Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. is the first and largest Latin sorority in the country. We were founded on December 01,1975 at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
Aside from being an academic sorority, our goals are to accomplish Scholarly Excellence, Empowerment of the Universal Woman, Political & Cultural Awareness, and Community Activism.
Although we are under the Multicultural Greek Council, we welcome anyone!
As the Beta Nu Chapter at UTA, our goal is to create an inclusive environment for ladies at UTA. Through voting events, study nights, and socials, we aim to be an organization that promotes leadership and scholarly excellence while creating lifelong friendships along the way!
The Bilingual Education Student Organization (B.E.S.O.) is a community for students pursuing a degree in Bilingual Education. Connect with peers, build lasting friendships, engage in professional development opportunities, and gain valuable networking experience through conferences and events. Come grow with us and be part of a supportive community dedicated to future bilingual educators!
The Hispanic Pre-Health Association (HPHA) is a new organization that will aim to educate the next generation of UTA students of ALL backgrounds regarding three career paths, including medicine, physician assistant studies, and Nursing. All with bilingual proficiency.
