ISEP Study Abroad

ISEP’s Digital Ambassador, Agus, studies Advertising at Universidad de Palermo in Argentina. This spring, Agus got to experience Milan as a student at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore through ISEP Exchange!
 
When she’s not in class, Agus explores everything Milan has to offer, from aperitivo with friends to discovering pop-ups like fashion week, design week, gelato week, and taking weekend train trips to new cities. She’s also been learning about Italy’s history, connecting with students from around the world, and practicing speaking Italian to locals.

Happy Earth Day! Here are some of ISEP’s Digital Ambassadors showing their appreciation for the beautiful planet we call home from all around the world 🌍

Claire Rolbiecki, an Environmental Science student at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, took her studies to Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology in New Zealand for unique hands-on learning opportunities. 
 
Since arriving in Nelson, she has been gaining real-world experience by sampling macroinvertebrates and clams at Tapu Bay to assess estuary health! Coming from a place surrounded by freshwater, exploring marine and coastal environments has been especially eye-opening. She also loves NMIT’s unique Aquaculture program, where students focus on one class every 4-6 weeks. Only two weeks in, Claire already feels she is understanding the material in a deeper, more meaningful way.
 

Mia Clancy, who studies Political Science and Spanish at the University of Vermont, is spending her semester abroad in Morocco at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI)!
From riding over sand dunes in the Sahara Desert to wandering through riads in the city, Mia finds inspiration in both the beauty of AUI’s campus and the landscapes of Morocco. The kindness of the staff and student body makes it easy for her to enjoy the social environment just as much as the physical one. When she is not admiring North African art, Mia enjoys spending time outdoors with friends. Looking at her photos, it is easy to see why she says, “Studying abroad has been one of the best decisions of my life.”
