The mission of the NCTCOG Regional Police Academy is to provide high-caliber, cost-effective professional development opportunities for peace officers at various levels of the profession.

We honored our 9/11 heroes yesterday morning on the grounds of NCTCOG. BCAPS 317 & 318 started at 6:45am and completed 911 reps and 4.2 miles of running. This tradition started in 2024 with BCAPS 301 and will continue into the future.

“The men and women who heroically—and, for some, tragically—placed the lives of others above their own on September 11, 2001, embodied the very meaning of selfless service. On this day of remembrance, we honor those who gave everything for our country, for their communities, and for one another. They were public servants, brothers and sisters, friends, and family—and heroes. We will never forget. As this tradition continues, may we honor their sacrifice not only through remembrance, but through action. May we rise to serve with courage, lead with compassion, and place others before ourselves—just as they did.”

3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Workout

25 years later, we remember.

On Thursday, September 10, the Regional Police Academy will come together for our 3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Workout. A morning dedicated to honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and recognizing the courage, sacrifice, and service of the first responders who answered the call.

This year, BCAPS 317 and BCAPS 318 will stand together in remembrance, carrying forward an important Academy tradition of ensuring the next generation of law enforcement professionals understands the meaning of service, sacrifice, and never forgetting.

We invite our law enforcement partners, first responders, alumni, friends, families, and community members to join us. You don't have to participate in the workout to be part of this special morning, come participate, observe, or simply show your support.
