Congratulations to our Director 🎉

Meet Ta'Necia Lewis, Center Director at Kidz Are People Too of Arlington!

With 17 years in early childhood education, Ta'Necia brings a deep sense of purpose, compassion and dedication to her work with children and families.

Her passion for early learning began long before she entered the field. As the oldest sibling, she naturally took on a nurturing role with her younger sister. Becoming a mother and spending more than 20 years serving children and youth through her church further shaped her calling.

“I truly believe that what we pour into children during their earliest years can have an impact that lasts a lifetime.”

For Ta'Necia, early childhood education is about far more than teaching skills. It is about helping children build confidence, character and a strong foundation for their future.

Her advice to those considering a career in early childhood education?

“Teach with purpose, lead with love, and never underestimate the impact you can have on a child's life.”

And perhaps the best description of what this work means to her:

“For me, this isn't just a career, it's purpose, ministry, and an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the next generation.”
