Great things are happening in Mr. Cardenas’ Advanced Art class! 🎨✨
Students are kicking things off with a fun and engaging warm-up: blind contour drawing. This exercise challenges students to train their eyes and hands to work together, drawing what they actually see rather than what they think they see.

It’s a great way to build observation skills, focus, confidence, and creativity—all while having a little fun! 👀✏️🎨

Arlington ISD observes September as National Su***de Prevention Month by promoting student mental well-being, sharing guidance resources, and utilizing peer-to-peer programs like Hope Squad.

Throughout the month, our school counselors will be visiting classrooms to provide guidance lessons focused on su***de prevention, mental health awareness, recognizing warning signs, and knowing how to seek help.
