Summer Book Swap Tomorrow, June 9th
Please join us in getting ready for summer reading by participating in Peirce's 2nd annual book swap! We are asking for each student to bring in 1-3 books to the swap. Tomorrow, June 9th, students will have the opportunity to select one book to take home for the summer and add to their personal home library. Every student is invited to pick out a book, whether or not they contribute one (this is where extras will be helpful). Classroom teachers are collecting the books in the classroom, so your student can bring them in as soon as they're ready.

Adults only trivia night is tomorrow!

There's still time to sign up for an adults-only trivia night next Friday! The top team wins a gift certificate to Rush Bowls!

You don't need to have a team in advance to participate in trivia. Come meet some new friends and hang out with old ones.

Pizza and desserts are included. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from the cash bar.

This event is a thank you from the PTO to all the caregivers for keeping these small humans going strong all year long and therefore is a pay what you can event. Please donate in advance through the PTO Venmo, or at the door either through Venmo (https://venmo.com/u/PeircePTO02474) or in cash.

Check the Lost and Found Before the End of the Year!
Over this past school year we have donated over 10 trash bags of left behind clothing to Cradles to Crayons. This is a huge undertaking to collect, bag, and wash all items prior to being donating. Mrs. P would like to thank Caitlin, Jill, and Amanda for always helping with this undertaking. As the year winds down, the amount of sweatshirts has again overflowed our Lost and Found rack. Ask your student if they have an item to collect. It would be appreciated.

Congratulations to our Peirce School community for winning the APS Textile Recycling Competition this year (for the 3rd or 4th time?!) Our Green Team will get a donation as a result.

And congrats to ALL THE SCHOOLS for breaking last year's record and donating an amazing 35,420lbs of textiles during the competition period, which earns us over $2000 for sustainability initiatives for the district.

Remember you can continue to donate textiles throughout the year to the bin in front of Peirce.
