💗🤠 WESTERN DAY: HONORING DOLLY PARTON

This Friday, August 28, Barnett students and staff are invited to wear Western attire or PINK as we honor the life and legacy of Dolly Parton!

Beyond her legendary music career, Dolly was a passionate advocate for childhood literacy. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of millions of children.

💗 Don’t have Western wear? Wear pink for Dolly!

Participation is optional. All clothing must meet Arlington ISD and Barnett dress code expectations at all times.

Join us as we celebrate Dolly’s legacy of literacy, kindness, and giving back.

🐻🥾 THE TRAIL STARTS TOMORROW!

Bears, we are ready for you! 💛🖤 Before heading to Barnett tomorrow morning, families and students should review our First Day Trail Guide.

✅ All students enter through metal detectors
✅ Arrive on time
✅ Students receive a paper schedule when they arrive
✅ HR = Homeroom and is your first stop
✅ Chromebooks are issued through Homeroom starting later this week
✅ Breakfast is available 8:20 to 8:40 a.m.
✅ Phones stay powered off and in backpacks
✅ Know how you are getting home and know your bus route/number
✅ Parents/guardians do not enter during arrival or dismissal
✅ Campus visits begin September 9

Don’t worry if you don’t know exactly where to go tomorrow. We’ll have plenty of Barnett staff throughout the building ready to help you find your way!

🐻 What an AMAZING Bear Camp! 🐾✨

Last week, we welcomed our newest 7th graders for Bear Camp, and the energy was unmatched! Our incoming students got to explore the building, find their way around, and jump into some awesome team-building activities before the full rush of the new school year.

Seeing all those excited, smiling faces made us even more thrilled for what’s ahead. They brought the energy, supported each other, and showed us that the future of Barnett is looking brighter than ever! 🌟
