FCBC meeting next Tuesday, 7PM at South Oaks campus

Nineteen anglers fished the September FCBC event on Richland Chambers which included three guests. RC fished tough as club weighed in a total of 62 fish, total of 154.48-lbs averaging 3-fish/angler at an average of 2.49-lbs per fish. Seven anglers did catch their personal 5-fish limits with only 2-teams featuring both anglers with 5-fish limits.

As always multiple teams catch a nice 5-fish bag and not one, but two Big Fish were brought to the scales. Two teams came in with over 20-lbs and not one but TWO 7.38-pound fish were weighed in for a Big Bass tie.

1ST Place Mike Pippen & David Griffey 22.12 lbs
2ND Place Brandon Carroll & Johnny Carroll 20.75 lbs
BIG BASS tie Johnny Carroll and Gary Tongate with a pair of 7.38-lb HOGS
Best Individual Stringer goes to Shayne Dupree at 17.21-lbs

Congrats guys, next Meeting will be first Tuesday of October with nominations for next years officers.

FCBC taking on Richland Chambers today.

It took a 5-fish bag of over 33-lbs to win our August TX Road Runner event. The 33.5-lb bag came out of Lake Nacogdoches in SE Texas. Lots of teams fished Lake Athens as we had just come off Athens in our July Tournament. It took over 22-lbs to finish in the top-5 teams and over 20-lbs for the top four individual stringers.

The Top 5 teams ranged between 22.16-lbs to 33.55-lbs and from 1st to 5th were: David Griffey & Mike Pippen, Brandon Carroll & Johnny Carroll, Rob Jasper & Bill Platt, Don Ellis & Shayne Dupree and Freddy DeLaPaz and David DeLaPaz.

The Top 4 Individual Stringers ranged from 20.38-lbs to 28.21-lbs and from 1st to 4th were David Griffey, Rob Jasper, Brandon Carroll & Mike Pippen

Big Bass Congrats to David Griffey who had a Double-Digit monster – 10.09-pounder!!!

Congrats to David Griffey and Mike Pippen as they led in every category and took home FIRST PLACE team for August 2022.

The crazy any weekend August Texas Road Runner is a wrap for 2022. Results will be presented in the old FLW weigh-in format next Tuesday, Sept 6th at our meeting - 7PM South Oaks Campus. Here are some stats for August that have been released.
