My beautiful niece has faced so much over the years with sickle cell, yet she remains resilient and strong. Despite the challenges, she’s a senior in high school, a straight-A student, and a shining light in our lives. We took this picture during my birthday party, and to me, she’s always been stunning—inside and out. I truly believe she embodies the meaning of "Black is beautiful."
