Aunt Molly's Playcare Aunt Molly's is a home daycare run by a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience and now adding an elementary teacher! Fun and great care.

To learn to love learning, kids need to have fun and feel good about themselves. I offer a comfortable home environment where your child will have lots of opportunity to play and “be a kid!” My focus is on twenty month to four year olds and the developmental stages they go though during this age. I firmly believe that children should have an early period in their lives when they can experience the world at their own speed in a non-rigid environment. I offer young children the opportunity to run and play and express themselves in their own special way. My program is small, so I can get to know each child and offer them the attention and time they deserve. My home is in a beautiful, family centered neighborhood where children walk to school through my backyard and there is a strong sense of community. Here your child will enjoy learning the life skills and the pre-school basics they need to start school. I provide nutritious food with lots of variety (as part of the USDA Child Nutrition Program) to teach healthy eating habits with lots of outdoor activity and daily exercise. I keep a clean home but know children learn through sensory experience. Here they will be allowed to dig in to learning and get messy while doing so. They will also learn to clean up after themselves! Along with playing and learning, we will read; listen to and play music; do arts, crafts and imaginative play; take nature walks; learn how to follow rules; listen to adults and to be considerate of others. I respect and love children’s individuality and will support you in developing your child’s sense of self esteem. We will go on regular field trips to the park and take the time to enjoy the fun of childhood!
