About
The Sociology Program offers Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees as well as a minor in Sociology. Our courses also contribute to minors in African American Studies, Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Mexican American Studies, Urban and Public Affairs, and Women’s and Gender Studies. We offer undergraduate concentrations in Diversity: Race, Class, and Gender; Diversity: Race and Ethnic Relations; Families; Health and Sport; Research and Evaluation; Social Psychology; and Theory and Cultural Studies. Contact the Undergraduate Advisor to learn more about our Fast Track Program, which allows undergraduate students to double count up to nine hours of coursework toward both a BA and MA in Sociology.
