All after-school activities in Arlington ISD have been canceled for today, Tuesday, April 28, 2026, due to anticipated severe weather. All campuses will dismiss at their normal time today. Elementary onsite after school care will continue as scheduled.

On March 10th, the Arlington Police Department’s Crime Prevention unit partnered with Kooken EC, to host a Car seat safety Education event focusing on our families with 3 year olds.
During this event, important information regarding car seat safety, proper installation, and positioning o help ensure young passengers are protected on the road.
Four car seats were installed on site and 5 other seats are pending.

With a generous donation of soil, seeds, sand, and gardening supplies Walmart store #5416 has helped strengthen Kooken’s outdoor classroom, providing students with hands on learning opportunities.
Thank you Arlington Police Department for partnering with Walmart to invest in our students education success.

We received a special visit from one of our wonderful community partners. Walmart donated 20 pairs of shoes and socks to our school. Thank you for your support and generosity to our students.
