George Mason Law Library

The Law Library is maintained primarily for the use of George Mason University School of Law students, faculty, and staff.

The George Mason University Law Library is an academic research center that supports the information needs of the faculty and students of the Antonin Scalia Law School. The library is also open to George Mason University students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as members of the bench and bar and the general public. ALL visitors who are not currently enrolled at or employed by George Mason University must sign-in at the Circulation Desk and are required to present a current government-issued photo identification card. Non-GMU users who are using the library for activities other than legal research or use of the federal government depository collection will be asked to leave.

Happy Constitution Day!

The U.S. Constitution was signed 239 years ago on September 17, 1787 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia by 39 delegates to the Constitutional Convention.

Join us in celebrating Constitution Day with pocket Constitutions and cake in the Atrium on Thursday, September 17, from 11 am to 1 pm.

First week of readings, done!

If you want to get some reading done in the library, our course reserve and study aid materials are available at the Circulation Desk for 2 hour check outs 👍

With classes in full swing now, we want to shout out our new 1L, LLM, and JM students who helped prepare over 200 pencil cases of school supplies last week for students at Bridges to Independence who are also starting classes!

Quite a few of them also color coordinated their pencil cases - we noticed and approve! 💚💛
