This weekend we celebrated the grand opening of the new high school with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and community open house. We would like to thank all Arlington residents and our partners Massachusetts School Building Authority, HMFH Architects, Inc., Skanska USA, and Consigli Construction Co., Inc. for their support and partnership during this 5 year construction project.

Climate change mitigation was a priority in the design of the new high school. Learn more at the Community Open House on Saturday, 1-4pm.

During the Community Open House on Oct. 25 (1-4pm) we'll have a scavenger hunt to find sustainability features throughout the building.

The new school’s design helps Arlington make significant progress toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Sustainability was a cornerstone of the design from the very beginning - long before it was commonplace for new schools.
