The Iota Mu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. chartered on December 1, 1986. was chartered on December 1, 1986, in Arlington, TX. Bro. Jerry Farmer.
The Charter Members included Brothers Joe Colbert, Ralph Holloway, Thomas Lewis, Edmond Moss, and the late Vincent Wilson. These men recognized a void in the community and founded the Chapter to both addresses the issues of the local community and serve as mentors to the community's youth. After a brief period of inactivity, the Chapter was reactivated in 2001 by Brothers Theo Ammons, Timothy Ammo

Congratulations to our very own Bro. Jerry Farmer on being elected as the 18th Gulf Coast Regional Director. Another congratulations to our own Bro. Torey Page on being elected the Gulf Coast Regional Director of Education. Finally, congratulations to all the Brothers of IMS. The chapter was awarded Outstanding Education Program, Outstanding Sigma Beta Club and Outstanding Alumni Chapter for the Platinum Level!

earlier this month Brothers of IMS participated in a Firearm Safety and deescalation training course. Brothers learned the rules/laws of fi****ms, how to deescalate hostile situations, and how to safety handle a firearm.
