Almost Right is not the same as wrong.

That's what makes it so hard to walk away from.

Wrong is obvious. Wrong is the guy who tells you he doesn't believe in monogamy while still chewing his appetizer. Wrong is easy.

Almost Right looks good on paper. He makes you laugh. He's kind...almost. He's available... almost. He shows up just enough to keep you invested but never enough to build anything real.

And because it's not terrible, you stay. You wait. You tell yourself maybe if he just works on that one thing.

Here's what I want you to know: almost right is still wrong.

The bar is not "at least he's not a disaster." The bar is does this feel steady, mutual, and good?

If it doesn't, you already have your answer.
