CAAS invites you to apply for our new position for the 2026-2027 academic year!
We are looking for FIVE students to serve as Student Mentors within our Student Development Initiative (SDI) program during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a paid position for both undergraduate and graduate students. Students will be expected to serve as a mentor to at least one (1) first-year students (mentees) and help connect their mentees to UTA resources and services. In addition to serving as SDI program ambassadors to mentees, mentors will also be tasked with assisting the Center for African American Studies with various matters.
