Congratulations to Carman Thornton on securing a legal internship with Build East Baton Rouge (EBR) this summer, where she will support real estate development, title work, and community facilities projects. She will assist with legal research, property and title review, and initiatives focused on housing development and neighborhood revitalization across East Baton Rouge.
Carman looks forward to gaining hands-on experience in real estate law and community-focused legal work while contributing to projects that strengthen local communities.

We're excited to share that Southern University Law Center student Angel Muhammad, 1L, has accepted a Summer 2026 internship with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, the largest and busiest prosecutor’s office in Georgia, led by District Attorney Fani Willis, the first woman to serve in that role in Fulton County.
This opportunity reflects the Angel's dedication and will allow her to build on prior experience with the office while gaining deeper exposure to criminal law, case development, and courtroom practice.
