The PTA’s annual Book Swap & Ice Cream Social was so much fun! 📚🍦We started outside, but when the rain started, we didn’t let that stop us! Our amazing ASFS community helped us move everything inside in a flash to keep the fun going. FREE new-to-you books + FREE ice cream treats on a super hot day = perfection! Thank you to our event leads Linda L. & Carla B. and much appreciation to our parent volunteers - we couldn’t do it without you!🫶🏻⚡️

Bolts!⚡The PTA's annual Book Swap and Ice Cream Social is TOMORROW (Tuesday) @ 6-7:30pm! It's going to be a hot one, so come chill with us...pick out some new-to-you books and enjoy a cold treat. We'll be in front of the school in the grassy area at the tables. It's not too late to donate your gently used elementary aged books (early readers, chapter books, graphic novels). On Tuesday you can drop off @ 8:30-9am in front of the school or Kirkwood ASFS entrance or 9am-4pm in the front lobby. See you there! ⚡
The PTA loves sponsoring the annual ⚡️Race 2 the Finish⚡️! This is the 2️⃣0️⃣th anniversary of our community coming together for a morning of fun and fitness🫶🏻 A HUGE thank you to our rock star PE Team - Ms Hall, Mr Ludwig, and Mr Melencio - for organizing every detail for an awesome morning!

TONIGHT's the Night! Please join us for our PTA Volunteer Reception @ 7pm followed immediately by our Election/Meeting @ 7:30pm! Special visit from APS to share latest on our cafeteria upgrade & resulting changes to the front area of our school (bus loop/grassy area.) Teacher Appreciation Week continued today with delicious breakfast burritos and a full snack & drink bar to keep the energy going all day! The PTA has a special treat planned for tomorrow, plus one last lunch to close out the week. ⚡️❤️
