Here's the JCA LIVE link streamed ACMI.tv broadcast multi-camera recording our AHS Music Technology kids produced sound for on Wed Feb1st with the video team LIVE stream by ACMI’s youth leaders. Check out the sweet jib shots in the video! There were 18 microphones mixed for this show as a live multitrack recording. Our AHS student producers managed the Auditorium sound, monitor mixes for the JCA onstage, and simultaneously, a live stream mix!

The AHS Jazz band kids were amazing and played a diverse and hard swinging 20 minute set before joining the headliners, Jazz Composers Alliance, a collective of Berklee composers including Arlington’s own Mimi Rabson and Dave Harris. The JCA were inspiring in their set, and showcased innovative improvisational models for everyone who was lucky enough to catch this entertaining masterclass of modern jazz. Fans of Big Band music know the deep roots and traditions echoed in the performance. Thank you Jazz Composers Alliance !
