Our March math circle featured a talk by Dr. Edray Goins, president-elect of the MAA, on some classical Diophantine equations.
Free seminar at UT Arlington intended to promote problem-solving skills and enjoyment of mathematics (MC)² is designed for students in 8th-12th grades.
The seminar runs every other week in the Fall and the Spring Semester . Students in lower grades are welcome as well but should be advised that a solid mathematical background is required in order to follow the discussions. Applying for the (MC)² Seminar: There is no cost for attending the seminar. If you want to participate in the Mid-Cities Math Circle, please send an e-mail with your name, grade and your school name to Dr. Dimitar Grantcharov at [email protected].
