LI provides training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications. LI teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media. LI offers 40 types of training schools, workshops and seminars, a free employment placement service, and a national field program that trains conservative students to organize campus groups. Since 1979, LI has trained more than 230,000 conservative students, activists, and leaders. Senators and Congressmen, City Council members and local mayors, state legislators, and conservative organization leaders.

LI held a Robert’s Rules of Order training in Hartford, CT today. It was attended by a great crowd of school board members, local elected officials, and party members - even the legal counsel for one of the legislative caucuses. This group had a lot of questions on how to properly structure Main Motions, Amendments, and, for the elected officials, how they could be more effective serving in minority roles on their boards and councils.
