The nomenclatures of Jump Blues and Blues Shouters are often , somewhat inaccurately, generically used to describe their individual styles.

This is a lexicon of Black Rock musicians that spans from the original creators of the Rock & Roll genre, beginning in 1940's, and includes contemporaneous (ethnically) Black Rock musicians. We have musician friends here on social media that were close personal friends with Mr. Nelson, and we're particulary sensitive
to their needs for space in mourning. That being said, we want to give out our condolences to all of his family and loved
ones. Moreover, many of us...myself included...were greater proponents of the Billy Bass Nelson era of Funkadelic than the s
subsequent P-Funk iterations. We literally grew up to the sounds of his music. His influence and legacies can't be overstated.
