Today, we pause to remember.
Memorial Day is not simply the beginning of summer or a long weekend. It is a sacred reminder that generations of Americans gave everything so this nation could endure in freedom.
At Arlington and across America, families gather beside white headstones, folded flags, and memories carried for decades. Behind every name is a story of courage, sacrifice, duty, and love of country.
As we reflect today, we also give thanks — for those who laid down their lives, for the families who carried the burden at home, and for the freedoms we too often take for granted.
This evening, we’ll be on the ground covering the National Memorial Day events in Arlington as part of this historic America250 season. Keep an eye out for our special coverage, reflections, interviews, and moments of remembrance throughout the night.
Tonight, Families remember. America remembers.
May we prove worthy of their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

Yesterday was amazing.
We spent the day at the Rededication of America — a powerful gathering of prayer, praise, worship, and thanksgiving for our nation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
It was one of those rare moments where you could truly feel generations coming together around faith, freedom, and gratitude for what God has done in America’s story.
We heard incredible speakers, including Alveda King, Franklin Graham, and Cissie Graham Lynch — descendants of men and women whose stories helped shape this nation and whose legacy continues to point people back toward God.
Throughout the day, pastors, leaders, veterans, families, and everyday Americans gathered together in worship and prayer — lifting up our nation with humility, hope, and thanksgiving as America approaches her 250th birthday.
We also had the opportunity to meet with and interview so many incredible leaders and storytellers, including Eric Metaxas, David Barton, Keith Krach, and John Geslthorpe, along with many others who are working to preserve the history, faith, and foundational principles that shaped America.
One of the most meaningful parts of the entire experience was watching the children step into the story themselves.
They interviewed families from across the country right here in D.C., asking questions about faith, heritage, prayer, patriotism, and what people hope the next generation remembers about America. Watching them confidently engage with adults, leaders, and strangers alike — hearing stories about God’s providence and America’s history firsthand — was a beautiful reminder that revival and remembrance begin in the home.
This wasn’t just an event.
It felt like a moment.
A reminder that America’s story is not merely political or historical — it is deeply spiritual, deeply familial, and worth passing on.
What an incredible day in America’s history.
And this is only the beginning.
Keep an eye out for what we have prepared for this coming fall. We are building something centered around faith, family, heritage, storytelling, and the next generation — and we cannot wait to share more soon.
God makes families.
Families make America.
And under God, America still has a future.
Thank you to Freedom 250 and The White House for an amazing event!

Yesterday in Washington, D.C. felt like the kind of day that stays with your family forever.
Not because everything was perfect.
Not because it was polished.
But because it was real.
Our kids spent the day walking through the story of America — standing beneath towering monuments, exploring museums, learning the sacrifices, victories, failures, faith, and vision that shaped this nation. They weren’t just hearing history… they were standing inside of it.
That’s the heartbeat of RoadSchool America.
Education becomes different when children can place their hands on the stone, look up at the monuments, hear the stories where they happened, and connect what they’re learning to something bigger than themselves.
And then last night, as storms rolled across the National Mall, we joined thousands gathered for Roots of Revival.
Families. Worship. Prayer. Flags waving in the wind. Voices lifted together in the shadow of America’s monuments.
Watching our children raise their hands in worship while standing in the capital of the United States was one of those moments that quietly reminds you why this matters so much.
Not just preserving history.
Not just teaching civics.
But helping the next generation understand that freedom requires virtue, stewardship, faith, courage, and families willing to pass those things on.
We also had the blessing of connecting with Lost History Tours yesterday — another family-centered ministry passionate about bringing America’s history to life through immersive storytelling and monument tours. It was one of those providential connections where you immediately recognize a shared mission and heartbeat for the next generation.
And now today begins something even bigger.
In just a couple hours, we’ll step into the Rededication of America gathering here in Washington, D.C. — joining pastors, families, worship leaders, and believers from across the nation during this historic America250 season.
Today is not simply about remembrance.
It is about rededication.
About praise.
About thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving for the blessings God has poured out on this nation across generations.
Praise for His faithfulness through triumphs and trials alike.
And a humble prayer that America would once again seek wisdom, truth, courage, repentance, and revival.
There’s something deeply meaningful about gathering in the very city where so much of our national story has unfolded… not merely to celebrate America, but to thank God for His providence and ask Him to guide what comes next.
To pray for strong families.
For courage in the Church.
For wisdom in leadership.
For the next generation.
For revival that starts in homes long before it ever reaches institutions.
As we walked the monuments yesterday, one thought kept returning to us:
Every generation inherits a nation.
But they also decide what kind of nation they leave behind.
Standing here with our children, in the heart of our nation, during America’s 250th season, we’re reminded again:
God makes families.
Families make America. 🇺🇸

One of the strangest things about motherhood is how much of it disappears almost as quickly as it comes.
One day they reach for your hand constantly.
Then suddenly they don’t.
You spend years tying shoes, cutting food, rocking babies to sleep, answering endless questions, cleaning messes no one sees, repeating yourself a thousand times a day…
…and somewhere in the middle of all of it, a human soul is being formed.
Not just educated.
Not just managed.
Formed.
The older I get, the more I think the holiest work in the world happens in ordinary homes.
At kitchen tables.
On bedtime floors.
In minivans.
In whispered prayers after hard days.
Mothers live much of their lives planting seeds they may not fully see bloom for years.
But generations are built that way.
A mother’s patience becomes her daughter’s gentleness.
A mother’s prayers become her son’s stability.
A mother’s faith becomes the atmosphere her children someday try to recreate in homes of their own.
Maybe that’s why Scripture speaks so often about remembering.
Because long after children forget the meals, the laundry, the schedules, and the routines…
they remember how home felt.
And mothers carry so much of that feeling.
To all of the Mothers out there, we see you, we love you.
