Oakwood Academy

Oakwood Academy will follow the AISD and close on Wednesday, January 28th. While we hoped to open, many neighborhood roads are far too hazardous for our staff and Oakwood families to travel. Temperatures are forecasted to drop again overnight with freezing fog developing which will only worsen road conditions. Additionally, despite our best efforts to salt and scrape our walkways and parking lot, they remain icy. We look forward to opening on Thursday, January 29th.

Oakwood Academy will be closed Tuesday, January 27th due to the continued freezing temperatures and hazardous roadways. We anticipate being open on Wednesday, January 28th.

In conjunction with the AISD, Oakwood Academy will be closed Monday, January 26th due to the winter storm in our area. We will continue to monitor the weather and will post updates regarding any further closings or delays. As a reminder, we typically follow the AISD in all weather related closings.
