UTA Opera roars back with the help of 70 friends | Fort Worth Report The University of Texas at Arlington staged its first, full opera production since the onset of the pandemic.

A little something about Sunday… we did it! Audiences are raving about UTA Opera’s first production since 2020! A huge congratulations to all involved. Over the next few days, expect to see a whole lot of gratitude posts as we call out the people and organizations that helped us to look and sound our best. In the meantime, here is our program icymi (in case you missed it)!

IT’S HAPPENING! UTA Opera, in collaboration with the Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy will present not one, but TWO children’s operas by Italian-American composer Gian Carlo Menotti THIS SUNDAY at 3pm in Irons Recital Hall, Fine Arts Building (South) at . And it is FREE! If you have little ones to entertain or are just young at heart, or even if you aren’t, come along and bring everyone you know!

Meet Larry, Curly, and Moe (thanks for the names .andreee) Catch them in our upcoming production on December 3 (details coming soon)! Curly has literally lost his head with excitement! 😂
