Today, our Middle School Wildcats had an amazing opportunity to visit CLOUD901 at the Memphis Library!

Students explored this state-of-the-art technology and innovation center designed to help young people develop critical 21st-century skills such as creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. During their visit, Wildcats experienced exciting spaces including maker labs, digital media production areas, performance spaces, and collaborative learning zones.

CLOUD901 provides students with hands-on experiences using cutting-edge technology while exposing them to future career pathways, college opportunities, and workforce skills. Our students were inspired to think creatively, work together, and discover new possibilities for their futures.

We are thankful for opportunities like this that extend learning beyond the classroom and encourage our Wildcats to dream big, explore new interests, and develop the skills needed for success in an ever-changing world.

Preparing Students for Success!

One of the things that makes Barret’s Chapel so special is the family atmosphere that exists throughout our school community. Today during Summer Learning Academy, our 5th grade students had the opportunity to share their love of reading by reading to our kindergarten students.

Watching our older Wildcats serve as role models while helping our youngest learners build confidence and excitement for reading was truly heartwarming. These moments remind us that learning is about more than academics—it’s about building relationships, encouraging one another, and creating a culture where every student feels supported and valued.

We are proud of our 5th graders for demonstrating leadership, kindness, and responsibility, and we love seeing our kindergarten students look up to them as mentors and friends. This is what the Barret’s Chapel family is all about—students growing, learning, and succeeding together! It's a great day to be a Barret's Chapel Wildcat! 💜💛

Our Summer Learning Academy students had a wonderful time today as a special petting zoo visited our campus! Students enjoyed the hands-on experience of meeting, petting, and learning about a variety of animals while creating memories with friends and teachers. Experiences like these bring learning to life by encouraging curiosity, responsibility, and a greater appreciation for the world around us. The smiles, laughter, and excitement seen throughout the day made this visit a huge success! Thank you to everyone who helped make this special opportunity possible for our students. Our Summer Learning Academy students enjoyed a delicious snack today as part of our Fun Friday activities! A huge thank you to our wonderful grilling team for firing up the grill and serving up tasty hamburgers for our students and staff. We are grateful for the caring individuals who go the extra mile to make learning fun and create special memories for our students. Our Barret's Chapel Wildcats had an exciting day of learning and adventure on their Summer Learning Academy field trip to the zoo! Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of animal habitats, observe wildlife up close, and make real-world connections to the science concepts they have been learning in the classroom. Beyond the educational experiences, the trip provided a chance for students to build friendships, practice positive behavior, and create lasting memories. We are proud of our Wildcats for representing our school so well and are grateful to our teachers and staff who helped make this enriching experience possible. What a wonderful day of learning beyond the classroom!

Several of our Wildcatst had an amazing time participating in Book Wars, an exciting trivia competition that challenged their knowledge of books, reading, and teamwork! We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm our students showed throughout the competition. Thank you to Ms. Pittman, Ms. Mason, Ms. Mascolo, and Ms. Nicholas who helped set up, keep score, keep time, and encourage! Great job, Wildcats — keep reading and learning!
