DES students get to learn in so many ways! Ms. Fleeger guided her students in several different strategies to practice comparing whole numbers!

Dice rolling: Students rolled the dice 6 times and used the digits to create the greatest number in the hundred thousands place that they could in order to win against their partner. Then, they discussed why that number was greater by explaining what place value represented.

Place value discs: Students were given place value discs and cards with numbers. Students had to build the number using the discs and discuss which one was greater while naming place value.

Task cards: Students were given task cards with assessment style questions and were able to display their knowledge of comparing numbers.
