🚗 Bud Remynse Elementary continued to kick off the new school year with a little extra honking, waving, and school spirit!

The annual Remynse Back-to-School Car Parade brought students, families, teachers, and staff together for a fun welcome back and a chance to celebrate the start of another year. We love seeing our Arlington ISD school communities reconnect and get excited about the year ahead.

✈️ It’s National Aviation Day, and we’re celebrating an Arlington ISD student whose dreams are already taking flight!

Thanks to Arlington ISD’s Engineering STEM program, Andrew is turning his passion for aviation into a plan for the future, with dreams of pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering. Through this program students have opportunities to explore their interests, build real-world skills, and envision where those skills could take them after graduation.

🚀 This is what Making Dreams Happen looks like. When students have access to meaningful experiences today, they can start building the futures they imagine for tomorrow.

⚾ Talk about a major back-to-school assist! For the third year in a row, Texas Rangers star Corey Seager and his wife, Madisyn, funded a back-to-school shopping spree for 30 students in Arlington ISD's Student Outreach Services program. Each student received $400 to spend at Academy Sports + Outdoors, plus an additional $100 to take home.

🛍️ Corey was joined by Rangers players Josh Jung and Cal Quantrill, who helped students shop for shoes, clothes, school essentials, and even a few things for extracurricular activities.

Thank you to the Seagers, the Texas Rangers players who joined them, and Academy Sports + Outdoors for helping our students start the school year feeling prepared and supported.
