Parents,
While our Vertical Raise fundraiser is going well, we are still working to reach our goal and we may need to extend our deadline. The best way for you to help us is to make sure you share the fundraiser with your friends and family.
1) Check your text messages from your kid, you should have one from July 23 that takes you to a step by step process of sharing the fundraiser.
2) Please share it with the aunts, uncles and cousins; share it with your kids previous coaches and teachers; share it with your high school friends and co-workers. We are all used to getting fundraising messages, and who knows you might just get someone in a good mood who is happy to send a little your kid’s way.
3) If you don't have the text message, ask your kid to share it again. They need to go to invite wizard and follow the prompts to send it to you. If they aren't sure how to do that, they can ask a section leader.
4) You can also post on Facebook. I would do a post based on premiere night. "Just saw my kid perform at the Martin Bands Premiere night on Friday, I'm so impressed! If you are able, please support my kid in their Vertical Raise fundraiser!" and then insert the link that you get from your kid.

Speaking of Premiere Night, thank you all for coming out! I loved seeing such a great crowd. At our parent meeting we talked about how you can get involved. See the attached Volunteer flyer for more details!
What is First Event? It's a school-wide organization fair and pep rally. All the different organizations have booths with their information and items you can buy to support them. Parents are welcome to attend. Food and drinks are available for purchase, so send your student with money if you want them to eat. The band will perform as part of the pep rally.

· Tickets for games are all general admission, unassigned seating. You can get a season pass that will cover all five home games in 2026 at https://gofan.co/season/177254 for $38.50. This is a savings over ordering tickets for each separate game ($9-$11). It is only offered until August 31.
· Note that continuing for 2026-2027, all students can get into Arlington ISD athletic events hosted at school sites for free. Junior high and high school students must show a student ID. Non AISD students are $6 each game.
· There is a Gold Card available to Arlington Residents age 60 and older. You can get one at the administration building, located at 690 E. Lamar, or the Arlington ISD Athletics Center at 1001 E. Division. You must bring a driver’s license to verify your address.
· For visitor games you will need to purchase tickets a different way - check our social media for details.
· All high school games now have a clear bag policy. Bleacher seats are allowed at most locations, but are not necessary for games held at Choctaw.
· Band parents can sit wherever. You will often see a group near the band or sprinkled in around the 50 yard line.
· If you are volunteering and not sitting with other band parents expect to head down to the field during the second quarter.
· Field crew volunteers get a front row view of our band’s performance for each game!
