The University of Texas at Arlington, Division for Enterprise Development (DED), launched the Environmental Training Institute in 2012.
Prior to being launched, the DED offered a couple of environmental courses to support other programs. These humble beginnings demonstrated the need for curriculum to support and develop environmental professionals.
