Sorry dear friends of knitting, crochet and the needle arts. I have been neglecting my page due to too many life traumas in the past 3 years. I am almost back and will be posting a get together at my house within a month or 2 for anyone interested in great sales on my yarns and other basic crafty items and accessories and books. As soon as the 7 pups are 8 weeks old they will be up for adoption. I will have time for y'all again. Due to severe osteoarthritis I have cut back on my classes, but will still take on a new student or 2 if we can stick to size 8 or above needle and size G or above hook. Still can teach lots on the circular, rectangular and square looms. My number is 6 8 2 - 4-2-9- 1-3-6-6 for ???'s or ask here as I will try to check daily. Nancy is back and except for the arthritis is feeling like a 35-year old at age almost 72. My birthday is June 21--longest day of the year--the Summer Solstice.

Hi. Looking for knitters and crocheters for a new group to be formed in the Next Door Neighborhood SW Arlington, TX. About 10 are interested already as on NDN. Looking for those who would like an afternoon or early evening group meeting in our private homes. As a knitter and crocheter, I would be happy to attend as often as I could and offer help for free plus give away some of my basic supplies. Worked as knit and crochet teacher at 4 different Jo Anns stores. Gave private lessons for years as "Multi-Talented Lady" and "Awesome in Arlington." Great for hats, scarves, afghans, etc. Do not recommend loom knit socks as it is much easier to learn to knit with double point or circular needles and knit them that way.
