Founded in 1922, and now with 144 chapters, Chi Epsilon is the international honor society for civil engineering students.

Chi Epsilon membership recognizes students who display the qualities embodied by our four pillars, SCHOLARSHIP, CHARACTER, PRACTICALITY and SOCIABILITY. The scholarship requirement is to be in the top third of the junior or senior class. We also recognize Chapter Honor Members, and National Honor Members, as distinguished engineers in the profession who model these traits.

Scholarship. Character.

Congratulations to our very own Chi Epsilon member Pascual Camacho of our 66th Chapter on receiving the 4th James and Sharon Weinel Fellowship!!! 🎉🙌🏼

This is a $3500 fellowship that is only given to a select few. It is an incredible accomplishment that Chi Epsilon is proud to see. Good luck to you Pascual!

Chi Epsilon chapters are doing their best to stay active, despite the unprecedented complications of this school year. New Mexico State University's chapter has put on an innovative fundraiser, selling masks to support registration for the virtual National Convention in October. Practicality.

Thank you to all who have supported our fundraiser for the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Masks! It was a huge success and couldn’t have been done without you. We have sold up to 100 masks which is about a $474 net profit! 🎉🥳

The proceeds from the masks will go directly to the registration fees for the mandatory National Chi Epsilon Biennial Convention which will be in a virtual format. In addition to our mask fundraiser, we are looking into events for students, guest speaker events, and FE Review sessions.

We currently have 40 more masks available if anyone is still interested. If so, please don’t hesitate to reach out! You can also find the masks for sale on our website linked down below! There we take donations and also sell some awesome detail stickers! 👌🏼 Thank you all again for your support and I hope you enjoy the masks as much as you can enjoy masks during this time 😆 Thanks!
