After 30 years of working with children, the time has come to close this chapter and say goodbye. I feel so extremely blessed to have had all of the children and families that I have over the years. Relationships have been built that I will forever cherish and hold dear to my heart. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your children blossom and grow over the years and I could not imagine doing absolutely anything else other than what I did for the time that I had. I will forever be grateful for this season of my life, but the time has come and the energy is shifting. Right now my goal is to simply learn to JUST BE, not plan anything or create the next adventure (that will happen naturally), and to enjoy my retirement or as Matt says my “pause”. I have no idea what is on the horizon, but I am going to welcome the sound of silence snd sit in stillness while surrendering to the process of my journey!
Thank you to every single person that has walked into our home and helped to enrich our lives with beautiful connections, soulful relationships, and wonderful memories that will be cherished forever!

Although it is a little hotter than we are use to I’m still enjoying this weather!
We all managed yesterday just fine. The house reached a high of 90. A very stagnate and muggy 90.🥵 I am very thankful for the 90 we had today!
The kids are loving being outside all day! Watering flowers, water table at 9:00 am, digging for hidden dinosaurs, playing in the sprinkler. Summer time is the best!
Have you ever wondered why we
Instinctively rock a baby when we hold them? Fun little fact (at least I thought it was cool).
Rocking helps build a babies brain.
Rocking helps to stimulate the neurons that extend from the ear to the brain stem.
Rocking stimulates brain growth that is centered around motion, gravity and balance.
Rocking helps a baby to go from a “disorganized” state of flailing and fussing to an organized state of visual alertness.
So gently rock those babies✨❤️

Last week was a fantastic week! We loved playing outside all day. Wether it’s playing games, puzzles and crafts on the deck while listening to the birds sing to us or cooling off with water while playing with Orbeez and fishing for letters. We are thankful for summer! 🌞
Something I hear quite frequently throughout the days are… watch what I can do/watch me/ look at me! And can you do this?
I typically can do just about everything they can. Jump on one foot, stick my tongue out, raise my arm and 1 leg too.
But our little miss Emma Roo has me beat on just about everything when it comes to flexibility. I think this girl might have a future in Cirque Du Soleil

A little peak of the week!
It’s definitely been warm out but the littles are staying cool with pop cycles and lots of water play.
Please remember to bring sunscreen for your little one if you haven’t already. Also swimsuits are a great idea!

We have all been loving this beautiful weather! We were outside first thing this morning, painted rocks for the kids digging area and then Emma and I sat on the deck to paint while all the other Littles were conked out from all the fresh air, sun and exercise.
Note: This was Emma’s first painting ever with “adult” paints. We found a easy picture to paint and we just went with it. As you can see we added a moon to ours. 🌝 She was very proud of her artwork, as she should be! I just helped her with her initials on the bottom. ❤️
