This is David, Millie Somers son. Millie told me at the beginning of his session this week that we needed to talk. David's father, also named David had what should have been a fairly routine surgery, but things didn't go exactly right. Somehow in the course of the surgery, he sustained some pretty major damage to his shoulder including torn muscles and internal bleeding. Instead of missing one week of work David will be out 6 to 8 weeks and only recieve a fraction of what they need just to get by from disability. Millie was wanting to pause David's sessions with me during this time due to inability to pay. I did tell her to just keep bringing him every week. As much as my family does need the income provided by what I do with all of these kids, I really have come to see all of them and their children as extended family and can't just not work with the child in a situation like this. Aside from prayer, I really don't know what the Somers' actual needs are, that question would better be answered by Millie. Anyone interested in helping please message the page or comment and I'll connect you with Millie. Thanks!
