Dan Hinderliter is Associate Director of State Policy for Advance CTE. Through his role, he supports state leaders of Career Technical Education through grant support, technical assistance, and resource development, including spearheading the modernization of the National Career Clusters Framework. He recently wrapped up multiple projects connecting CTE to the green workforce, including a project with DDOE to advance environmental literacy in CTE programs.

This rural town has come together to bring outdoor learning and nature play to their children. You can see the inspiring transformation of their schoolyard in this video. It's been a joy and an honor to work with this beautiful community. (Including my dear friend and colleague Beth Reese who led outdoor learning in Arlington, VA when my son was a kid and now is a West Virginia grandma with a mission 🩷)
